"I know I’ve asked this before, but with our looming end-of-year fundraising deadline, the question is even more vital now: If not you, then who? Who else can I rely on to help ADL fight hate and all its consequences?
I dearly hope you’ll stand with us and our community today — because the stakes are higher than ever and I need you to be a leader.
Your chance to take action ends tomorrow, at our midnight deadline. It’s critical that you step forward right away and help prepare ADL to fight for a better world in 2012.
As a strong and loyal ADL supporter, you know as well as I do that the coming year holds threats and challenges unlike any we’ve faced in years.
At home, economic uncertainty and rising political extremism are sowing division. Abroad, the Iranian threat is rapidly escalating, with recent evidence confirming our worst fears of nuclear arms development. I could go on and on, but you’d be reading for hours.
Without your generous and immediate support, ADL won’t have the resources to respond the moment our intervention is needed — and, I fear we will be needed far too often. That’s why your personal commitment to fighting hate is so crucial right now.
Your support, your sense of responsibility to the Jewish community and to anyone victimized by prejudice and hate, your steadfast commitment — all are needed as we enter a year of unknowns. Please let me know I can count on you.
With gratitude,
Abraham H. Foxman
National Director
Anti-Defamation League
Cordiali saluti e felice anno nuovo.
