Vote NZ National

The Liberal Party of Australia has sent to me this message:

Many Australians have friends and colleagues from New Zealand who are living and working in this country. If you do know a Kiwi, then it's important to remind them to vote in this year's election before overseas voting closes this Friday 19th of September.

It is important because the electoral system in New Zealand means the results are always close. Without the PARTY VOTES of National supporters living overseas, there is a real risk that Labour will cobble together a coalition government with the Greens and other minor parties.

Under the leadership of John Key and National, New Zealand is moving in the right direction. Another strong, stable National Government will lock in the gains of the last six years to create long term prosperity for Kiwi families.

Kiwi's have until this Friday 19 September to cast their vote. They can PARTY VOTE NATIONAL from Australia by printing and scanning their ballot online, or by visiting one of the many polling places throughout most major Australian cities.

This initiative is commendable. Australia and New Zealand are two neighboring countries with a common heritage (indeed, they are to be considered the two sister nations) and should speak, because many New Zealanders go to work in Australia and many Australians go to New Zealand. Hence, it is right that each of the two nations protect their own who go to work in the other, without damaging it.

Australia e Nuova Zelanda sono due Paesi vicini con un patrimonio comune (anzi, esse sono da ritenere due nazioni sorelle) e dovrebbero interloquire, poiché molti neozelandesi vanno a lavorare in Australia e molti australiani vanno in Nuova Zelanda.
Quindi, è giusto che ciascuna delle due nazioni tuteli i propri che vanno a lavorare nell'altra, senza danneggiare quest'ultima.
