Ed Fast Member of Parliament-Conservative Party of Canada |
Dear friends, read this message that the Conservative Party of Canada has sent to me: "Antonio Gabriele, Yesterday was a milestone anniversary. Thirty years ago, Canada's Conservatives won an important majority government. I remember where I was that day – there is no feeling like winning an election! We want you to celebrate this anniversary with us – and in October 2015, we want you to share that same great feeling of a big election win. That 1984 election victory led to one of the most important free trade agreements in Canada's history – the North American Free Trade Agreement. Ours is a trade record to be proud of – and I hope you'll stand with us and sign this petition to support Canada's free trade plan. Back then, just like today, we needed a stable majority government because the NDP and Liberals were fundamentally opposed to free trade with our American neighbours. Today, we're building on that legacy. When we were first elected in 2006, Canada had free trade agreements with only 5 countries. Today, thanks to our Conservative government, that number is 43. With one out of every five Canadian jobs dependent on exports, continuing to advance our free trade plan will create thousands of jobs, and make our country a more prosperous place. But just like in the 1980s, the NDP are completely opposed. And the Liberals? The only trade they're interested in is the marijuana trade. We've accomplished so much, but we still have work to do. Every day with a Conservative government, our economy grows stronger. We're better off with Prime Minister Stephen Harper – and we need to have his back. Add your name if you're with us – stand up for free trade. Sincerely, Ed Fast MP, Abbotsford" . Canadian government chaired by Prime Minister Stephen Harper wants Canada to become a power. At the Liberal Party of Canada only interested in liberalizing marijuana. Sincerely. Italian: Il governo canadese presieduto dal Primo Ministro Stephen Harper vuole che il Canada diventi una potenza. Al Liberal Party of Canada interessa solo liberalizzare la marijuana. Cordiali saluti. |
