" Usted me pregunta cómo estoy?
English version:
I thank my friend and collaborator Angelo Fazio pointed me these words of the coach of Uruguay Oscar Washington Tabárez:
" You ask me how I am? The closer to the end than the beginning. But the great challenges keeping people alive ."
I agree with the Uruguayan coach.
Apart from the fact that Uruguay will win the World Cup or not (although I hope a win) Tabárez has already won.
His victory is moral.
In fact, Tabárez is sick.
He suffers from a degenerative disease of the nervous system that is paralyzing the limbs.
Still, "El Maestro" directs his team safely and and gives it a great determination.
I have seen so many sick people, among which there were members of my family died of cancer.
Every Saturday afternoon, I attend Mass in Geriatric Institute "Antonio Nuvolari" of Roncoferraro, here in Italy, in Lombardy.
I know the illness and suffering.
In addition, I also remember my friend and collaborator in this blog Silvia Morelli, who suffers from Crohn's disease and fibromyalgia.
Often, when a person becomes seriously ill he lose the will to live and fight.
On the contrary, such as the aforementioned friend Silvia, Tabárez wants to fight and move on.
This his determination was transmitted to his team, who joined around him.
So even Fernando Muslera, Edinson Cavani and colleagues did the group and you are motivated.
For this, Tabárez must be taken as an example.
