The persecution is now blatant. Two open homosexual students at George Washington University are calling for the dismissal of Fr. Greg Shaffer, chaplain of the Catholic Newman Center on campus.
According to the student newspaper, The GW Hatchet, a handful of pro-homosexual students are launching a campaign to force Fr. Shaffer off campus because he opposes abortion and same-sex "marriage," which hurts their feelings. In a fit against Church teaching, Damian Legacy, one of the students leading the charge against the priest, told the newspaper how he "remembers at one point ripping the Vatican flag down from over his bed and throwing his cross across his room."
The same pro-homosexual activists who cry "tolerance" and "acceptance," are now pressuring top university administrators to cut all funds for the Catholic Newman Center, the largest student group on campus, and strip its chaplain of his God-given Catholic freedom to promote the truth and guide souls away from sin.

"We can't allow the homosexual movement to bully Catholics into silence or turn the Land of the Free into a gulag without virtue or moral values," said TFP Student Action director John Ritchie. Catholic students are rallying to defend Fr. Shaffer. Dozens of sterling testimonies have been posted on a newly created website called The Chaplain We Know.

Sono solidale con Padre Greg (nella foto) che sta esercitando un suo diritto dato dalla libertà che è prevista dalla Costituzione americana.
Il suo I Emendamento recita: " Il Congresso non promulgherà leggi per il riconoscimento ufficiale di una religione, o che ne proibiscano la libera professione, o che nel limitino la libertà di parola, o di stampa; o il diritto di riunirsi pacificamente in assemblea, e di fare petizioni al governo la riparazione di torti.".
Padre Greg sta esercitando un suo diritto.

Quello che sta succedendo è sotto gli occhi di tutti.
E' in atto una vera e propria persecuzione contro chi crede in Cristo ed è fedele alla Chiesa cattolica.
Questa persecuzione non è caratterizzata da uccisioni (come nell'Antica Roma) ma tramite metodi "intellettuali".
Chi, per esempio, difende la famiglia e la vita viene attaccato da vari attivisti di gruppi (come la famosa lobby gay o le lobbies abortiste) che a loro volta vengono appoggiati da gruppi politici, da gruppi di potere, da parte del mondo della comunicazione e della cultura.
Si cerca di fare passare chi crede nel valore della famiglia e in quello della vita per "retrogrado", "bigotto", "nemico dell'umanità", "nemico della ragione" e quant'altro.
Si irride la fede.
Si fanno mascherate contro la Chiesa, dicendo che esse sono satira.
Sappiate, però, che dopo le mascherate e le varie disquisizioni "antropologiche", si arriverà alla persecuzione vera e propria.
Questo è molto grave !
