this is the petition that TFP Student Action has sent to us, supporters:
Dear Antonio Gabriele,
By the grace God, it's going "viral."
In fact:
4 cardinals, 19 bishops & archbishops, dozens of priests, and over 228,876 faithful already signed the prayerful petition to Pope Francis in defense of marriage and family.
The petition -- which I thank you for signing -- will be delivered at the Vatican before the Synod on the Family b egins in Rome this coming October 4-25.
But right now, TFP Student Action is racing against time to get 500,000 in 30 days...
So I want to invite you to be a Pro-Family Petition Booster in your local community and collect 5, 15, 30 or more signatures.
Why should you become a Pro-Family Petition Booster?
Because the forces of darkness are attacking true marriage and family every day.

The urgenc y of this petition is growing.
You see, Call to Action and twelve other dissident Catholic groups recently sent a 53-page document to Rome for the Synod, demanding "reform."
For example, the report includes demands like these:
-- "The hierarchy needs to forget dogma"
-- "Take the teaching on homosexuality out of the Catholic Catechism."
-- "Have specific LGBT liturgies," and "Bless gay unions."
I'm not making these quotes up.
And they get worse:
-- "Loosen restrictions on reproductive health [abortion]."
-- "Give seminarians access to women!"
-- "There is a need for collective/ tribal/ community worship..."
-- "Today, responsible people do not have large families."
You see how brazen these dissenters are getting?
These same dissenters announced plans to go to Rome to lobby and pressure Synod Bishops to water down timeless teaching. They want to unleash widespread confusion.
Which is why we can't just sit on our hands... Silent. Passive. Or indifferent.
The Church has the power to destroy the snares of the devil.
And our pro-family petition prayerfully asks Pope Francis to boldly and clearly reaffirm Catholic teaching on marriage and family, which would push back the enemies of the family at the next Synod.
So -- would you be willing to collect 5 or 15 signatures in your community?
By collecting petitions to Pope Francis you will:
-- Encourage the Pope to stand strong against world pressure
-- Show Church leaders that millions support Church teaching

Even inside the Church, "progressive" voices are clamoring for "Change, change, change!" -- acting like the Ten Commandments were a list of 10 pick-and-choose suggestions.
Like wolves running wild inside the flock of Christ, dissident Catholics are spreading confusion, claiming that marriage is "evolving." And that adultery, divorce and remarriage are not that bad.
The big problem is this: Some bishops (especially in Germany and Switzerland) are letting the wolves run wild.
So -- Could you possibly collect 5 or 15 petitions within the next 30 days?
That would be a real Godsend.
