Australia, Tony Abbott: "Our priority is you"

Dear friends,

this is the message that the Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott has sent to us, supporters of Liberal Party of Australia:



"Dear Antonio Gabriele,

Today marks 18 months since the election.

Every day we’ve been working to clean up the mess we inherited and to lay the foundations needed for a stronger Australia

Our focus is on you – and your life – to make it easier and to give you more opportunity.

We’re reducing cost of living pressures by scrapping taxes – like the Carbon Tax.

We’re strengthening the economy and creating more opportunities for business to grow – over 200,000 new jobs were created in 2014. Three new free trade agreements will set up Australia for the long term.

We’ve also secured our borders by stopping the boats.

In recent weeks, we’ve tackled the issues you have been raising with me and my colleagues. We’ve made decisions like:
Stopping illegal foreign ownership of residential property;
Improving the standards for food labelling;
Giving greater support for small businesses with a new grocery code; and
Taking a tougher approach on hate preachers.

We have listened to you – the Medicare co-payment is now dead and we have provided a pay increase to members of the Australian Defence Force.

In the coming months, there will be a families package that will focus on child care so we can help families by making child care more accessible and affordable.

There will be a small business and jobs package – with a small business tax cut.

And we will continue to strengthen our national security to keep our country safe.

The Coalition Government is taking the needed steps to build a stronger, more prosperous Australia.

The purpose of a government is to the interest of the community that it administers.
So, it has to ensure the products of his country and the welfare of its people.
It must also ensure the safety of his people.
Prime Minister Abbott is doing exactly that.
