Condolences for Barbara Bush

The former American first lady Barbara Bush died at the age of 92 years.

Barbara Bush, wife of George HW Bush, was born on June 8, 1925 in Manhattan by Pauline and Marvin Pierce, publisher of popular women's magazines, while Franklin Pierce, the 14th president of the United States was their distant ancestor. At 16, during Christmas holidays, she met George Herbert Walker Bush during a dance and, in 1945, after the end of World War II, they married. He fought as a pilot and, in each of his planes, he named Barbara. In subsequent years, the Bush family had 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The most famous sons are George W. Bush, Jr. who was US president from 2000 to 2008 and Jeb Bush, who was governor of California from '99 to 2007. These he converted to Roman Catholicism in 1995. The second daughter, Robin instead, she died of leukemia in 1953, just four years.
