Two world leaders resign in one day

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has resigned over the Italian referendum loss, 

while John Key has announced his resignation as Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has conceded defeat in the Italian Referendum, and indicated his intention to resign in a midnight press conference. The Referendum was on a series of political reforms proposed by PM Renzi and his party.

New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key has just announced his resignation. Key told journalists that he's leaving on his own terms, stepping down to spend more time with his family after almost a decade in the top job.
