Dear friends and friends,
I thank my friend and partner (who I love like a sister) Stephanie Caracciolo photo.
Today, the US is celebrated on Veteran's Day while the Canada is celebrated on Remembrance Day.
The photo above shows a stained glass window in memory of Italian Canadians died in World War I and II.
The window is in the church of St. Anthony in Ottawa and it was built in 1950 by Guido Nincheri, an Italian-Canadian artist in Montreal.
Now, I think that a serious country should remember those who died for their freedom and for his safety.
This was written by someone who did not do the service military, why not eligible, but who looks with great respect those who fight to defend its values, which I am.
Here in Italy there are certain movements that insult the memory of those people who fought for our values, in the name of a certain "pacifism."
we must make sure that these ideas do not take root.
kill the memory means killing ourselves.
With my heart, I join Canadians the Americans in their commemorations.
Sincerely.
