as you know, two days ago died James Best, that actor American that Italians had become known as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane, the famous sheriff of the TV series "The Dukes of Hazzard."
Now, in the role of the Sheriff of Hazzard, James Best has proven to be good at making good satire.
Sheriff Rosco represented precisely the character of a satire, along with his partner Jefferson Davis Hogg (also called Boss, played by Sorrell Booke) Uncle Jesse Duke (played by Denver Pyle), cousins Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke (played by Tom Wopat, John Schneider and Catherine Bach), Cooter Davenport (played by Ben Jones), the Deputy Sheriff Enos Strate (played by Sonny Shroyer) and all others in the world of Hazzard County, an upside-down world where those who should be the law is corrupt (and at the same inept, just like Boss Hogg and Rosco) while the honest are those that go in jail (the Dukes) and at the same time are those that remove the chestnuts from the fire to all, including JD Hogg and Rosco.
However, this satire is a satire like that.
In fact, you make fun of politicians but never resort to profanity and insults.
Now, if you think for example to some Italian comedians (as Luciana Littizzetto and Sabina Guzzanti) makes me sick.
If you hear a joke Mrs. Littizzetto, James Best is entitled to turning in his grave.
On three words that come from his mouth, two are bad words.
Satire is a serious matter.
Those who run " Il Governoliere "make a better figure.
Do any of their lines also makes you laugh.
At least, do not make me want to fly your computer out the window.
Instead, the Ms. Littizzetto makes you want to throw the TV out the window and saw that the aforementioned "comic" operates at the public TV, paid by us Italians.
I end with a satire on Mincio-Po Union.
The Union Mincio-Po Union would be as a fusion between the counties of Hazzard and Chickasaw.
Sheriff Rosco would have risked losing their benefit fellow-rival Chickasaw, Sheriff Little (Don Pedro Colley).
For the Dukes would be the end.
