The Anzac Day and April 25 in Italy

Earlier today, I visited the Australian War Memorial with the Governor-General, Sir Peter Cosgrove, as part of this week of Anzac commemorations.

This week will be a very significant time for our country.

The best thing we can do this Anzac Day, to celebrate our country, to honour our values and to support the men and women of our armed forces, is to attend an Anzac Day service.

I hope as many Australians as possible, one way or another, attend Anzac Day services over the next few days.
