Tony Abbott: "Making Australia Safer"

this is the message that the Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abott has sent to us, supporters of the Liberal Party of Australia:


"Dear Antonio Gabriele,

Today, I delivered a National Security Statement.

The Government also released a Review into Counter-Terrorism as well as the Joint-Review into the Martin Place siege.

These reviews detail the threats that we face and the Government’s detailed response to keep our country safe.

There will be new measures to strengthen immigration laws, as well as new options for dealing with Australians involved in terrorism.

We will strengthen our terror advocacy laws as well as include stronger prohibitions on vilifying, intimidating and inciting hatred.

Australians who take up arms with terrorist groups have sided against their country and should be treated accordingly.

I am determined that we stop hate-preachers grooming young Australians for terrorism.

I can’t promise that terrorist atrocities won’t ever again take place on Australian soil - but we will make the difficult decisions that must be taken to keep you and our country safe.

Tony Abbott should make a nice trip here in Italy for teach something to our premier Matteo Renzi, who is moving so amateurish.
The terrorist threat is more dangerous than ever and need some concrete measures, such as (for example) the blocking of illegal immigration.
Australia is taking the right steps ... while Italy is watching.
