CPC, Rona Ambrose: " Protecting Canadians"

read this message that the member of Parliament Richard Ambrose has sent to us, supporters of Conservative Party of Canada:
"Antonio,

I’m proud of our Conservative government’s strong emphasis on protecting Canadian women and girls from barbaric cultural practices.

I recently read about the prevalence of female genital mutilation (FGM) – a horrific custom still practiced in some parts of the world – in England. It is estimated that up to 170,000 women and girls living in the UK have had to undergo this practice.

Please take a minute to read more about how we are protecting Canada from barbaric cultural practices.

Antonio, we can’t be complacent. We can’t assume that countries like Canada are immune from these practices.

That’s why Canada’s Conservatives explicitly condemned FGM in our 2011 citizenship guide for new immigrants. It’s also why we introduced our Zero Tolerance for Barbaric Cultural Practices Act last year.

Our Conservative government believes that all women and girls who have chosen to make Canada their home deserve the full protection of Canadian law.

That’s why we have made it clear: cultural practices like FGM, child marriage, and so-called “honour killings” are not acceptable.

This message gives a concept that here in Italy is hard to do to understand certain characters that are now in the government: who enters a country has to adapt to it. So, certain practices should be abandoned, I am referring, for example, to infibulation, a barbaric practice typical of certain Islamic societies and Africa where they are mutilated female genitalia, or the phenomenon of girls married to adults, which is pedophilia. Canada wants to defend its values ​​and fights certain practices really inhumane.

Questo messaggio dà un concetto che qui in Italia è duro da fare capire a certi personaggi che oggi sono al governo:  chi entra in un Paese si deve adattare ad esso.
Quindi, certe pratiche debbono essere abbandonate,
Mi riferisco,  ad esempio, all'infibulazione, una pratica barbara tipica di certe società islamiche ed africane in cui vengono mutilati i genitali femminili, o al fenomeno delle bambine sposate ad adulti, che è pedofilia.
Il Canada vuole difendere i propri valori e combatte certe pratiche davvero disumane.
