the Conservative Party of Canada sente me this message:

On behalf of Canada's Conservatives, thank you.

We set an aggressive fundraising target in the second quarter of this year – and you came through for us yet again. Together, it's amazing what we can accomplish — more than 2,000 donors chipped in what they could, and pushed us past our goals.

If you saw our Prime Minister's recent speech to supporters at the Calgary Stampede, you'll know that's not all we've accomplished together. On the weekend, he reminded us that:


We’ve added over one million net new jobs since the recession — overwhelmingly, those jobs are full-time, high-paying, private-sector jobs;
Our banks are the soundest in the world, according to the World Economic Forum, and Canada is the best place in the world to do business, according to Forbes and Bloomberg; and
We've lowered taxes by over $3,400 for the average family — and our tax cuts have primarily benefitted the middle class. As a result, Canada's middle class is now the richest in the world, according to the New York Times.

We've accomplished all this and more while pushing Canada's budget closer and closer to balance. And once the budget is balanced, we'll use our fiscal room to do what we promised – cut taxes even more for hard-working Canadians families.

But all this is at risk if we don't keep working together.

The Liberals and NDP are proposing expensive tax, spend, and borrow schemes that would make the worst European budget look solid.

They would reverse the progress we've made together.

The stakes are simply too high to let that happen. That’s why we need to keep growing our movement.
