The CPC: Don't let us be next

The Conservative Party of Canada sent me this message:

"Friend,

In the past, we’ve always fought our elections against the other parties. But as we learned from the election results in Ontario last month, things are very different now.

In Ontario, the big labour unions spent millions of dollars and mobilized thousands of volunteers during the campaign.

The President of the Ontario Federation of Labour is now taking credit for preventing a Conservative win:

“… we prevented Hudak from winning the election in June.” – Sid Ryan


Here’s the scary part: it could happen to us next.

Sid Ryan continues:

“…now that we have stopped Hudak, Harper is next.”

In the next election, we won’t be fighting just the Liberals and NDP – we’ll be up against the Ottawa media, the union bosses, and the radical left. They will stop at nothing -- spending millions in the process -- trying to tear us down.

We need your help to fight back, and we need it today.

We know that what the Liberals and NDP are proposing – expensive tax and spend schemes – will reverse all the gains we’ve made in getting Canada’s economy back on track.

We’ll be outnumbered, and we may even be outspent in the next election. But since we can't rely on big money donors or big union bosses to fight our battles for us – we're counting on people like you.

Will you chip in $5 or whatever you can afford now and help us fight back today?

PS – As you may know, I have a personal connection to this. My riding of Durham was represented provincially by my father for 19 years. Despite a great conservative candidate, it flipped to the Liberals last month as a result of our opponents’ campaign of fear and misdirection. We can’t let this happen to us in 2015. The fact that the Liberal Party of Canada has a policy too pro-Palestinian reveals that it is not reliable.
In addition, it is ready to make up the taxes on behalf of statism.
In practice, Justin Trudeau would do what Obama is doing in the USA.
