In Nazareth is happening a shameful thing: protest against the legitimate decision of US President Donald Trump recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, the mayor has decided to cancel Christmas celebrations.
As reported by the italian newspaper " Il Giornale ", the Mayor of Nazareth, Ali Salam, said agency official Palestinian Wafa to have decided to attack Christians in protest against the decision of the US president, Donald Trump, to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The decision does not affect, however, the Christmas tree lighting and the procession held every year in this city in the north of Israel.
I find it shameful that attitude of the Mayor of Nazareth.
I find that it is shameful and as a Christian and as outspoken supporter of US policy and Israel.
In fact, what Trump has decided to put in place is a project commissioned by the US Congress many years before he became President of the United States of America.
What the mayor of Nazareth is doing is an act of Christianophobia.
Indeed, this is an act of racism towards Christians.
Because Nazareth is located in Israel, it is hoped the intervention of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
